Serbia is one of the oldest wine producing countries in the world. Wine is grown on approximately 70,000 hectares in eight regions. Price-performance ratio of the wines is phenomenal. For this reason, we have established a distribution for Serbian wines in Switzerland with Samovino Switzerland in 2016. Within a few months, Serbian wines were on the menus of 10 of the best restaurants in Zurich, Winterthur and Basel.
We heralded the launch of Samovino Switzerland with a Wine & Dine at Zurich’s «Wirtschaft im Franz». Each course of the Tavolata was accompanied by a glass of some of the finest Serbian wines, produced with love and by hand at the Temet, Budimir and Čokot wineries.
